JC Lawyers was founded in 2005 by John Consiglio in Spring Hill, Brisbane. After nearly 20 years in partnership at a large firm in the Brisbane CBD, John decided it was time for a change in approach.
By setting up JC Lawyers, he was able to focus on the select clients and areas of law that he had dedicated his career to. Over the following years, JC Lawyers established a thriving property law practice focusing on conveyancing and strata developments.
This was complemented by John and other senior practitioners providing experienced services in Family Law, Wills & Estates and Commercial Law for individuals and small to medium enterprises.
Today, JC Lawyers continues to deliver the expertise you would expect from a large CBD firm, with the personalised attention and competitive rates that only a boutique practice can offer.

John Consiglio
Founder & Principal
John has over 30 years' experience as a practising solicitor. Admitted in 1987, he graduated from Queensland University of Technology (then QIT) with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. After nearly 20 years in partnership at a large Brisbane CBD firm, John founded JC Lawyers in 2005 to focus on providing personalised, high-quality legal services.

Dean Consiglio
Solicitor
Dean graduated from QUT in 2012 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Finance). His studies in finance allow him to apply legal knowledge while understanding clients' broader financial needs. Dean manages and supervises the conveyancing department, working closely with paralegals on all files.
